Walnut
Walnut is a dark, very hard species of wood featuring a wide range of colours,
from its creamy sapwood up to its brown heartwood. Walnut tends to lighten somewhat over time. (Real wood)

Expressive
Defined knots and visible sapwood create a vibrant and richly contrasting surface appearance.

3-strip
The typical look of a strip floor with three strips on one plank is reminiscent of a ship's deck. The individual, short strips remain visible on the installed surface.

Impregnated
The highly effective impregnation gives the surface better protection against the ingress of
moisture which is unintentionally left standing on the floor for a relatively long time.
This special oil/wax emulsion at the ends of the planks and staves prevents rapid penetration of the
surface by moisture. Every engineered parquet product from ter Hurne enjoys this particular luxury.

Natural oil-treated surfaces
Natural oil produces a matt and rugged appearance.ter Hurne applies natural oil to enhance the highquality,particularly matt appearance of the wood and to intensify the tangible impression of originality. Open-pore natural oil-treated surfaces promote the exchange of humidity in a room
and create a balanced and healthy room climate. Natural oil-treated floors can be refreshed from
time to time or even partially or completely re-oiled, if necessary.
