Dureco-Floor

Dureco – the new floor by ter Hürne
Dureco is the almost completely organic flooring, which is optimally protected against water and other impacts of daily life.
The high water resistance is achieved through SEAL technology: a combination of various high-performance components, which together form a composite to provide effective protection. The penetration of liquids and standing water through the surface into the baseboard is prevented for up to 24 hours (based on the NALFA test).
Its healthy living and sustainable properties are confirmed by ECO Institute testing and the Blue Angel.
This makes dureco the relevant alternative for people who are looking for a floor made of natural and sustainable materials. This innovative floor can withstand the rigours of everyday life – even when it’s wet.

Responsible and sustainability
For the dureco floor we use wood from certified sustainable forestry. This is confirmed by the PEFC certificate, with which all dureco floors have been awarded. In addition, today a considerable part of the wood material used for baseboard production is already manufactured from trees, which, for example due to storm damage, can no longer be used for furniture or hardwood flooring.

A contribution to the climate
One cubic metre of wood stores one tonne of CO2. By choosing a dureco floor, you are making an active contribution to climate protection, because our floor is mostly made of wood. The wood contained in the product stores the CO2 absorbed by the tree and in fact, until it is burned. Added to that, for every tree used for production, more trees will be planted, which in turn will store CO2 during their lifetime. That is why we have designated dureco a climate-positive floor.

Classic Line. Classic & Timeless
